Sky Blue Builders delivered the Center of Equity and Excellence in Aviation (CEEA), a groundbreaking facility located on Level 4 of the Hotel and Transit Center at Denver International Airport. Developed as a cornerstone of DEN’s Vision 100 strategic plan, the Center was designed to support the airport’s long-term growth while positioning Denver as a national hub for aviation talent, innovation, and inclusive workforce development.
The facility brings together education, business development, and research under one roof, creating new pathways into aviation careers—particularly for historically underserved communities. Program spaces were thoughtfully designed to support training, collaboration, and innovation across the aviation industry, reinforcing DEN’s commitment to equity, excellence, and future-ready infrastructure.
A defining element of the project is the Bessie Coleman | Ed Dwight Hall of Equity, a dedicated space honoring aviation pioneers whose legacies continue to inspire future generations. Delivered within an active airport environment, the project required careful coordination and precision execution to meet operational requirements while delivering a facility with lasting social and industry impact.
