Sky Blue Builders Founder and CEO Mowa Haile has been named a winner of the Denver Business Journal’s 2026 Most Admired CEO Award.
The annual program recognizes Denver-area executives whose leadership combines company success with civic engagement, career achievement and meaningful community impact. Honorees were selected by a panel of independent judges.
Under Mowa’s leadership and with the dedication of an incredible team, Sky Blue Builders has grown from a two-person operation into a 100% employee-owned company trusted by major public agencies and private-sector clients throughout Colorado. That continued growth is also reflected in DBJ’s latest ranking of Denver’s largest private companies, where Sky Blue climbed 24 positions from No. 78 to No. 54.
Mowa’s leadership is grounded in humility, integrity and a belief that success should be shared. His selection reflects the opportunities Sky Blue creates for its employee-owners, the relationships the company builds with clients and partners, and his extensive civic and community service throughout the Denver region.
The 2026 Most Admired CEO honorees will be celebrated at a dinner on November 19 at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver and featured in DBJ’s November 20 print edition.
