Sky Blue Builders completed a minor interior remodel of the Long Term Care (LTC) space located on the first floor of Kaiser’s Central Support Services building. The project focused on improving finishes, systems coordination, and overall functionality within an active healthcare support environment.
During preconstruction, Sky Blue Builders worked closely with Kaiser representatives to establish traffic control plans, demolition sequencing, phasing strategies, and finish selections. Early coordination also addressed HVAC and electrical modifications to ensure the remodeled space aligned with operational needs and building systems.
Sky Blue Builders self-performed demolition and interior work, including removal of existing carpeting, shelving units, and base cabinetry. The scope also included HVAC register relocations and rebalancing, electrical adjustments, new flooring installation, rubber base installation, and interior painting across approximately 3,900 square feet of wall surface.
All work was executed in an occupied facility and carefully phased to minimize disruption to staff and building occupants. The project concluded with full cleaning of the renovated area and was completed successfully following a client-directed schedule adjustment.
