Sky Blue Builders completed a series of laboratory renovations across multiple Kaiser Permanente facilities to support the installation of new wet chemistry analyzer equipment. Each site required targeted interior modifications while maintaining continuous lab operations and strict adherence to healthcare standards.
The scope included selective demolition, equipment and casework relocation, structural and architectural repairs, and the integration of new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and life-safety systems. Work areas were tightly controlled, with construction activities sequenced to minimize disruption to staff, patients, and ongoing clinical functions.
Given the occupied nature of each facility, the team implemented detailed coordination plans addressing access restrictions, utility interruptions, safety protocols, and infection control requirements. Close collaboration with Kaiser project managers, design consultants, and equipment vendors ensured smooth transitions from existing systems to new installations.
Despite varying site conditions and parallel schedules, all locations were completed in alignment with contract requirements and owner expectations. The program demonstrated Sky Blue Builders’ ability to execute repeatable, high-quality healthcare renovations across multiple facilities with consistency and precision.
