Mowa Haile Brings Business Leadership to Statewide Competitiveness Council

Sky Blue Builders CEO Mowa Haile has been asked to serve on the Governor’s Competitiveness Council, bringing his perspective as a business owner, employer, and civic leader to a statewide conversation about Colorado’s economic future.

The newly formed Council will examine Colorado’s competitive position and identify opportunities to strengthen the state’s business environment. Its work will include developing recommendations around the issues that influence economic growth, job creation, business investment, and Colorado’s ability to attract and retain talent.

For Mowa, the position builds on a longstanding commitment to business and civic leadership. In addition to leading Sky Blue Builders, he currently serves as Chair of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, working alongside business and community leaders on many of the issues affecting employers and communities throughout the region.

That perspective will now contribute to a broader statewide effort focused on what Colorado needs to remain competitive and create opportunity for businesses, workers, and communities in the years ahead.

At Sky Blue Builders, Mowa has built his leadership around the belief that successful businesses have a responsibility to participate in the communities and economies they depend on. His service on the Governor’s Competitiveness Council is another opportunity to bring that philosophy to the table and help shape conversations about Colorado’s future.
