At the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Annual Meeting, Sky Blue Builders President Mowa Haile officially began his term as Board Chair, following a year of strong leadership from outgoing chair Maureen Tarrant of HCA HealthONE. The Annual Meeting brought together more than 700 business and community leaders to celebrate the region’s progress and focus on the challenges and opportunities shaping Metro Denver’s economy.

Haile emphasized his commitment to proactive leadership and collaboration in his remarks. “My commitment as a board chair is simple: we are going to lean in,” Haile said. “Lean into policy conversations, not just reacting to what comes out of the legislature but proactively shaping the solutions Metro Denver needs. Lean into collaboration – bringing together business, government, and community leaders to ensure Metro Denver stays competitive and resilient. And lean in to supporting every member of this Chamber, from our largest employers to our smallest startups, because they all play a role in fueling our region’s economy.”
With this official transition, Haile and the Chamber will continue building momentum for a vibrant, competitive business community across Colorado.
