The United Airlines Station Operations Center modernization program focused on expanding operational capacity, improving resiliency, and updating the facility to current code and performance standards while the SOC remained fully active.
The project included modernization of the primary SOC floor, enhancements to the Emergency Response Center, new conference rooms and private offices, updates to MDF/IDF rooms, and renovation of support spaces including break areas and locker rooms. Technical improvements addressed HVAC upgrades, emergency power integration, secure life-safety systems, and enhancements to core mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
Construction was delivered through a strategic, phased approach to ensure continuous 24/7 readiness. This sequencing allowed Sky Blue Builders to modernize the facility while minimizing disruption to live airline operations and emergency response activities.
