DEPLOYABLE STRUCTURES LABORATORY

Deployable Structures Laboratory was a design build of a 6,000 SF satellite facility for Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). This facility required SCIF requirements due to the testing component of this laboratory for the testing of deployable structures. Scopes include unique MEP, Fire Upgrade, Steel, EFIS, Interior Finishes, and Site Work (grading, earthwork, concrete, asphalt, wet and dry utilities)

GSA REPAIR & MAINTENANCE IDIQ

Under the Repair & Alteration IDIQ Contract, Sky Blue Builders currently performs all minor construction related projects at the Denver Federal Center, which encompasses over 90 buildings on 670 acres, comprising over 4,000,000 square feet of office, warehouse, lab and special use space. We have established a process that enables us to respond immediately to all Requests for Proposals, from credit card jobs less than $2,500 to larger projects in excess of $100,000.

RENOVATION OF BUILDING R8301 (CMAFS)

As part of the Renovation of Building R8301 at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Sky Blue Builders was contracted to renovate the existing SCIF (Secured Compartmentalized Information Facility) for new tenant. Scope of work consisted of extensive electrical upgrades, new wall system, new static control carpet, relocation of doors, HVAC upgrades, reconfiguration of fire alarm & fire sprinkler system, paint, suspended ceiling and rough in for telecommunications and video systems

NC-135 DEMOLITION PROJECT

National Nuclear Security Administration

NC-135 consists of approximately 13 fenced acres of developed land with over 43,000 square feet of single story, prefabricated buildings and trailers to be demolished in a effort to bring the site back to brownfield conditions.

BACA NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE

Design-Build project consisted of the construction of a new 3,288SF office building and associated site utilities at the BACA National Wildlife Refuge in Crestone, Colorado.

FORT CARSON – REPAIR BUILDING 330

Federal, US Army Corps of Engineers

Design and construction of a new fire sprinkler system at Building 330. The intent of the system is to bring the newly installed storage racks into code compliance with new fire suppression and safety system. Work also includes repair and replacement of various damaged or deficient doors to improve the thermal envelope of the building.
