Sky Blue Builders is proud to announce it has been named a 2026 Denver Business Journal Partners in Philanthropy honoree, recognizing organizations that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to corporate giving, volunteerism and community partnerships throughout the Denver region.
The annual awards celebrate businesses that go beyond their core mission by investing their time, talent and resources to strengthen the communities they serve. Sky Blue Builders is honored to be recognized alongside an outstanding group of Colorado companies making a meaningful difference across the state.
Community impact has been central to Sky Blue Builders since its founding and remains embedded in the company’s mission: Be Good. Do Great. Inspire. As a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP), every employee-owner shares in the responsibility of giving back and creating opportunities beyond the projects they build.
Throughout the year, Sky Blue Builders supports numerous nonprofit organizations and community initiatives through financial contributions, volunteer service and mentorship. Employee-owners participate in projects with organizations including Denver Rescue Mission, Food Bank of the Rockies, Project Angel Heart, Habitat for Humanity, Wish for Wheels, Denver Scholarship Foundation and many others. The company also provides every employee with a paid volunteer day off to encourage community involvement.
Sky Blue Builders also seeks opportunities to deliver projects that create lasting community impact. From public libraries and civic spaces to the Center of Equity and Excellence in Aviation (CEEA) at Denver International Airport, the company believes construction can serve as a catalyst for education, opportunity and stronger communities.
